Anna and Andrew are a Polish-Scottish couple, so their wedding was a cultural mix. A lot of folk games known for both Scottish tradition and Polish folk. Just like a Polish-Scottish wedding in Poland should be. They together decided that the wedding should take place where the bride cames from. So, according to Polish tradition, the groom came with his family to Poland. Firstly, Andrew’s family spent beautiful days in Krakow, and then everybody – family and friends – went to the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, to Busko-Zdrój, where the venue Lawenda was. However, before the party, it was a wonderfully touching ceremony in the Polish church.
Polish-Scottish wedding in Poland
There were tears of emotion. There were wedding dances until morning. There were toasts and speeches for the bride and groom. There were typical games for Scottish guests. There were Polish wedding traditions.
At the Baltic, in Gdynia-Orłowo, by the cliff, the groom proposed to the bride. Hence the shells as an element of a wedding decoration – a bouquet, wedding tables, hairstyles. Wedding flowers have been replaced by a bouquet of seaside shells prepared by a bride who is in love with the Polish sea. After all, it was the most beautiful Polish-Scottish wedding. Thank you that as a wedding photographer from Krakow, I was able to be with you on YOUR day.
