Hey! I would like to show you a mini series of photos from the engagement photosession in Krakow’s Kazimierz. Our heroes – Gabriela and Bartek – came from Katowice to visit old Krakow. They met with me, the wedding photographer, in one of the most known and most visited districts of the city. Kazimierz Krakow charmed lots of hearts with his spirit.
A short engagement session in Krakow – ideas
Some of you can wonder – where to go for an engamemnt session in Krakow? There are many places worth photographing in the capital of Malopolska region. For an engagement walk we can go to the Wawel castel, or near the Vistula river, or to the Bednarski Park. Other option, completely different in architecture style, is socrealistic Nowa Huta with its Central Square and Kombinat. However this time, the mini engagement session in Krakow took place in Kazimierz discrict. In a place where you can feel the spirit of Krakow’s bohemia the most.
Kazimierz – one of the best known areas of Kraków, also for pictures
For many years, the Kazimierz district was associated with shacks, abandoned homes, etc. However, after the fall of communism, it began to come back to life. In the second half of the 1990s, the first cafes and pubs began to be created, ranging from Singer, Propaganda and Alchemy. These were places willingly visited by students. Today, there are almost 300 cafes and restuaants in Kazimierz. I can add that the monuments of Kazimierz, together with the strict Old Town Kaków and Wawel Castle, were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1978. In 1994, Kazimierz Krakow along with the Old Town, Wawel, Stradom, Podgórze was declared a historical monument. Why don’t we take a photo session here? It’s a good place for the engagement pictures with Gabriela and Bartek.
